Meditation is a journey, a way to connect with the Christ, and a path to spiritual intimacy.
This is my go-to meditation technique that has allowed me to experience some amazing encounters with God.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how I meditate and achieve profound results:
1. Choose Your Position
Whether you prefer sitting up or laying down, ensure you’re comfortable.
2. Initiate with Breathwork
Tap into your inner self through controlled breathing.
3. Wait Upon the Lord
Be patient and let the spiritual connection build.
4. Seek Guidance
Pray and ask God to reveal to you what He wishes. Request the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you on this journey.
5. Enter with Gratitude
Step into His courts with thanksgiving and His gates with praise. Find that gratitude within you; it acts as the fuel for your spiritual journey.
6. Set the Ambiance
Consider playing some worship music to enhance your meditation experience.
7. Focus on the Stillness
Clear your mind and concentrate on the stillness that lies ahead. Visualize the vast blackness, the matrix, the womb, and the secret chambers designated for prayer.
8. Reflect on the Scriptures
- Gen 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
- Gen 1:2 – The earth was formless and empty; darkness covered the deep waters. The Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
- Gen 1:3 – God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Remember, those who sat in darkness witnessed a magnificent light.
9. Manage Your Thoughts
It’s natural for thoughts to arise. Gently push them away and return to your focus.
10. Seek the Holy Spirit
With practice, you’ll start to perceive the Holy Spirit. A radiant light will manifest. Follow this light; it will guide you deeper into the meditation. If the light wavers or fades, refocus and find it again.
11. Dive Deeper
Attempt to move towards the light with your conscious mind. Once you achieve this, brace yourself for a profound experience.
12. Embrace the Revelations
God will bless you with insights, epiphanies, and show you the desires of your heart. The primary goal is to witness God, not for His gifts, but for His essence. Encountering Him will transform you, bringing healing and liberation.
13. Stay Open-minded
Avoid setting any limitations or expectations. Let God decide what He wants to reveal.
14. Hold onto the Insights
Initially, the revelations might seem overwhelming. Try to grasp at least one significant insight.
15. Carry the Experience
What God initiates in the secret place, He will manifest in public.
Meditation is a transformative journey. It’s a way to deepen your connection with God, understand His love for you, and experience spiritual revelations. Stay committed, and the rewards will be boundless.
